One person found this helpful. I use this book to make Bible timelines for homeschool. The reproducible book has simple black and white line drawings suitable for coloring.

They are a cartoon style but not silly or cutesy. Using these figures are a great way to visualize the progression of Biblical events. It is great to use with Sunday School Curriculum. It helps students see how the Bible fits into history and the order of events. It's what I wanted. I use this curriculum for my rd grade Sunday School. I have reduced the size of the pictures and put them in plastic "pockets" on a timeline on our classroom wall. Every week we do a lesson based on a new picture.

Right now we are almost through the entire Bible. After finding all the "pairs", I have the kids pick out their favorite story out of the "pairs" they have found and tell me the story. This curriculum can be adapted to all ages I used it several years ago for the 3 yr. Okay Sunday School Teachers and home school moms - if you are looking for a fun and interactive way to make biblical history come alive this is it! I love this book! The pages are reproducible so you can make multiple time lines.

Why not turn you Sunday School room into a visual timeline? Allow children to explore history through pictures and to actually see how it all fits in together. I was expecting something a little different but was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the pages of this book. I am taking this in conjunction with our world history and adding events from secular history to the coloring pages so my children see that the biblical history is not isolated but that it is directly and intricately interwoven into all history.

They can thus experience the far reaching impact of other cultures and christian cultures on the war and better understand what all was happening in the world at certain times in the bible. And if this app has the story we will get in and read it and also do the activity with it. Just a few things, I wish there were just a few more stories like the story of Jonah or job so that they may see it and understand it at their level. It would be very helpful we we could see it again so that we can go back and read the verse together.

Other than that, we LOVE this.

Initially, she listened to the story and only touched screen once per story. It still kept her attention to a HIGH degree! We got through the entire Bible like that. She enjoys doing it on my phone in Spanish. Would LOVE more stories.
